Random November

Stuck in bed with my phones in tow, I hope I get well soon! The cold weather we've recently been experiencing is not good for me. In spite of my love-hate relationship with the sun (special thanks to its capability of producing more than enough melanin onto one's skin), the heat it produces keeps me well and healthy. #islandgirlmode

With the first month of 2013 halfway through, its time to double up my speed in posting 2012 backlogs!

Crazy isn't it? i feel as if 2013 just started yesterday. Haha

..Anyhow, to kick off my array of things to talk about, here are some photos from a trip to Baguio with my family during a not-so-random,3-day weekend! :)

View from the room

My brother's yummy-looking double patty burger

I think Camp John Hay houses the best looking Army Navy branch... everrrrr!

Photo captured by my Dad, in an attempt to catch me "emo"

Flowers. Another epic love-hate relationship. #nextime

If you want to see the "real Baguio", trod to Camp John Hay and it's surrounding areas. They've got everything from good food to fresh air. :)

Yup, totally different from if we decided to hang out in Session Road. haha

It was less than 2 months to go before Christmas when we went so, it was nice to see several decorations up already.

During some alone time :)

Because I can't get over....

......hoping my hair to grow as long as it had been in 2011 overnight!

-------------------------------------------

Okay, so I must admit ( if you don't already know or if you're totally in denial ), wanting something you don't have is such a "humanly" act. Once you have achieved or gained it, you're yearning dissipates and moves on to a whole new thing that you decide to go crazy about.

Am I right or am I right? :)

...Anyhow, this time around, apart from the ipad mini that I want to purchase ( but is always out of stock and feel so bad about ) to the point that I even dream about owning one, I really want my curly hair to grow further. #brattyproblems

The photo below was taken in December of 2011, a few months before I agreed to noticeably chop my locks off.  I had no bangs ( only very long ones) and all curls.

Next is a photo that was taken at Amparo's place maybe 2-3 weeks prior to the date when the photo above was taken.

And another photo with my college friends in November of 2011. It's length was already very much like the photos above.

Then a few months into 2012, it was suggested that I chop my hair off to emanate a "younger feel".

Though several months has already passed while constantly hoping for hair growth, I still have not quite achieved the length I used to go around with.

The freshly cut bangs I had done last December now annoys me (with the said patch of hair constantly curling like an "S" every time it could), as shown by my constant use of clips, like in the photo below.

To date, I think I've got about 2-3 inches to go before reaching my desired length. I hope I don't suddenly hit a mood swing and decide to chop it off again due to annoyance ( a usual excuse of mine in college )!
Hahaha there goes...a perfect example of wanting something you do not have :)

Yes, the above photo reflects the current state of my hair :)

 Toodles!

2013!

Yup, it has officially been 12 days since 2013 started and this will be my first blog post of the year! I know I owe this site sooooo much updates and for this year, I've made posting more often part of my resolutions.

And to start this year's array of threads, here are some quotes and lines to keep in mind :)

1.) Yup, staying positive is the key. No one is perfect so accept your imperfections and learn from them :)

2.) Over thinking will lead to pre-mature wrinkles! Relax :)

3.) Okay, this only works for special occasions. Period.

4.) Speaking from experience, having curly hair is both a source of pain and happiness. On a good day, curls and wispy waves give instant character while on a not-so-good one, they give one annoyance and terrible mood swings. Learn to love your hair no matter what! :)

5. Yes.

6.) Yes squared.

7.) No one can really see what the future has in store for us. Even the Mayan's who story seemed plausible to many, didn't make the cut. Just live life a step at a time with less worries and more smiles. :)

Here's to a great 2013 ahead!

Sabbatical

Currently pledged myself to a sabbatical away from certain things, work none the less but that aspect will have to  experience some delay....
